So here's my deal. I have a WVC54GC network cam from Linksys and the software doesn't work in Vista. I'm running Vista Ulitmate x64 and can't seem to get this software to work.
It installed ok enough, had to download the software from Linksys. Anyways I tried to change the compatability settings for XP SP2. That didn't really help, get the program to run a few times but just ended up having to close it if I tried to really use it.
I work at a Circuit City and was talking to one of the other tech guys and he was talking about some sort thing where you make Vista install software while thinking it's XP or something crazy like that.
So I was wondering it there was anything like that in Vista? Or am I just outta luck trying to get this camera to work? It would be a bummer since it's a $100 camera . . .
