vista language pack

hello......a friend of mine is buying a sony laptop..yeah i know....she is japanesse...i know on xp i installed the language pack and she can type japanesse...but the people at the sony store told her she couldnt use vista for japanesse?...i find this hard to believe...set me straight!

You can set the IME to Japanese in Vista, just like you could for XP. Don't know what the people at the retail store were talking about.

If you have Ultimate (or Enterprise) you can also download a Japanese MUI pack and change some of the interface to be Japanese.
