Vista + KVM = So many sounds!!!

Hey guys, I have vista on my main rig, and I use a KVM to use one of my monitors, and my USB keyboard and mouse on whatever I am setting up at the time. So every time I switch the KVM off the vista machine and onto the setup one, I get the noise from my Vista machine that I've unplugged a USB device, and same thing when I switch the KVM back. I know this should be simple, but I just can't find audio controls for this, and I want it to stop!
 
Disable system sounds altogether? There's kinda no point to having them if you ain't blind!

Or maybe just go:

Control Pamel -> Sound -> Sounds

and see what 'Windows' sounds are listed there which could be relevent. Disable/Enable them one by one until you find the one doing it. I won't claim to know which it would be, but I'd suggest it'd maybe be the 'device disconnect' or 'device failed to connect' one.
