Vista Internet Slow

I just installed Vista on this machine that I built yesterday and I'm connected to a Linksys WRT54G through a Linksys WMP54G wireless card. Now the connection is strong and I haven't gotten any drops, using either Firefox or IE is incredibly slow. It takes about 2 minutes on average for a page to load. I'm typing this on my XP machine that is using the same card and speeds are perfectly fine.

I've tried running the command 'netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled' and restarting but that did not solve my problem. Is there any other setting that I can change that will help me? TIA

I've updated the driver to the latest one on the linksys site but still slow as molasses.

EDIT: I uninstalled the wireless card, reinstalled it, entered the previously mentioned command, and viola, it worked.
