vista feeling a little sluggish, registry cleaning?

i have had vista since it came out. and now it;s feeling a little slow. i think i should reinstall again, but i really don;t have time to do it and it;s just a big hassel, i thought i should just clean the registry.

so anyone recommend anything?

If all your looking for is a registry cleaner, you can try CCleaner, but I doubt that's going to "fix" the problems your having.... if it's really running slowly, there is probably more going on than a messy registry.....
 
I am running into the same issue. VISTA is not Slow as HELL.

I was planning on waiting for Sp1 before i Reinstall but cant wait any longer.

Anyways I have a few QUESTIONS regarding Install....

  • What is the proper method to Reinstall?
  • Will I need to Reactivate vista again (like in XP)

i would think so, back up everything, deactivate vista and reinstall again. not much harder or different from XP.

What is acting slow about Vista?
Are the games running slower?
Does it take longer to browse the internet?
Are your downloads/uploads slower?
Is it your applications which are running slower?
Is the system only slower when you first boot?
