Just a quick warning. The Creative Labs X-Fi Vista 32-bit driver dated 12-26-06 on CL's site will break a few things in Vista if you install them. They are labled drivers so that may be the cause, since i am using the RTM Ultimate version from MSDN.
The Control Panel and most things in it are no longer accessible. Most of the features are available another way, but it is VERY annoying.
I have spent the last 3 hours figuring out that it was the sound drivers that caused it.
Anyway, i guess i will go back to using the onboard sound until newer "
official" drivers come out.
