When trying to access the control panel in Vista it'll start to draw up and just dissapear.

I'll have to reboot hit F8 and select last know good config.

When it gets back into windows I can access the c.p.

I've tried system restore and that worked for awhile, but the problem comes back again.

Also, when I right click on the desktop and click on personalize it does the same thing.

NOD32 hasn't found any problems.

Windows Defender and Adaware haven't found anything either.

Windows is uptodate also.

Very strange..

I have this problem too, also running NOD32 (Vista Home Premium)

Frankly Vista is beginning to really p*ss me off (cancel or allow?) and I have only been running it for 3 days!

You need to update and activate it. I had the same problem and it went away.

I know I'm running a trailversion right now but it sounds strange that this should be the problem... Ofcause you would know when you did it I just think it sounds strange...

Still I'll wait with activation until I have decided whether or not I'm keeping Vista...

Strange even affects my printer.

I'm thinking of just reinstalling, but if anyone has any good ideas I'd be more than happy to try it out..
