So I had to change the size of my C: partition to make rome for Windows 7. I then used Partition Manager - big mistake.
Now when Vista boots i have no Desktop. When i then run explorer.exe I get a temporary desktop, because it cannot load my user profile. I looks like Vista now boots on drive partition D:. Somehow Vista thinks D: is my primary partition. If I run msconfig and look under the boot fan it says D:. Disk manager does not work anymore because all the system files is on another partition and I can’t install any programs to help.
When I repair startup from booting the Vista DVD, it still boots from D: When I boot from a floppy, drive C: is primary and everything looks fine. So it only Vista having problems. I guess it the boot file for vista or something?

Can anyone help how to fix this?
