Vista and bf1942

Bf1942 starts fine but when I get to the menu area the top and bottom of the screen are white. I also can not see any of the option buttons or sliders. Any clues? Thanks

Not to beat the dead horse, but this is a beta OS with beta (at best) drives for video cards at the current time. There isn't going to be very much in terms of a work around, since RC1 is for testing purposes. There should be a feedback button/option, so make sure you report the problem to Microsoft.

RC1 is "Release Candidate 1". This is a version that is down to lingering glitches and bugs, and if something doesn't work here, there's only a small chance it will work beyond this point before going final.

I don't think those descriptions apply to Microsoft products. Until code goes Gold, it's still in beta, and MS usually goes to RC2 before incrimental fixes to bring it up to Gold status.
