Recently installed Windows Vista Ultimate on my computer....

Specs:
AMD 64 X2 Dual Core Proc 4400+
2GB of Ram
Nvidia 8800 GTX

It has an Asus a8n-32sli Deluxe motherboard with the onboard sound Realtek AC'97.

I am getting some weird static sound anytime I move the mouse or move windows around, this only happens under Vista, works fine under XP. Tried some different headphones and have played around with all the settings but can't seem to fix the problem. I have updated the Realtek driver etc and nothing seems to get rid of the static.

Any solutions? Also im considering changing motherboards to get a different onboard sound card since I have had no luck with Creative's x-fi stuff working any better with Vista. Id prefer to just find a fix or get a different sound card but not sure what to get since Vista appears to be pretty picky when it comes to sound cards.

Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome.

Thanks,
Cody
