I'm running Vista 64 on my primary drive, and I have a secondary RAID 0 volume that I use for apps. It's been working fine, but now when I have my secondary RAID 0 volume connected, I get an error when the OS tries to load that says "Winload.exe is missing or corrupt". It doesn't happen all of the time either, but when it does, I have to open the case and unplug the RAID drives to get the thing to boot up again. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas?

Happens when not overclocking too?

Run a repair windows install and see if that fixes the problem

This error drives me insane. It's not the first time its happened to me.
This time I swapped out a few HDD's on a client workstation and I can't find a way around it.

I can't use the recovery console, because placing the DVD in the system causes Vista to boot to desktop. It's the ONLY way it boots into desktop.

This is an upgrade DVD, which I think is why I can't. I've tried reinstalling over the current OS and that doesn't work either.

I'm doing this on an AMD X2 5000 black edition w/ 4gb pc6400 and 3 x 500 GB hdds which are 2 IDE and 1 sata.
