VISTA 32 BIT SP1 !

I am hearing that the new SP1 For vista 32 bit now detects 4gb ram is this true?

It can't use it all even if it did report back 4GBs of RAM.

I believe you are referring to the "fix" in which SP1 x86 will show the full amount of memory installed in a 4 GB system. You still aren't using it...it's just displaying properly.

Yeah, just displays the physical RAM, not what's available to the OS. On some BIOS configurations, though, it won't display like this.

Correct. If you check your system properties, it will show 4 GB of RAM. And if you go to the top of that window and click Help and then About, it will show you what is really available.
