Visontek warranty problems?

I have a Visiontek 4870x2 and understand that I need to register the card within 30 days, right?

Yet when you go register the card, it does not give you the choice of the 4870x2. I emailed them yesterday and still don't have a response.

What is everyone else doing? How can I secure my warranty?

No, Visiontek only wants a copy of the receipt. Read the warranty information on their site. If you need to RMA, you include a copy of the receipt...
 
Their customer service department is about as perseptive as Hellen Keller from what I can see. I sent an email requesting an RMA, that took like 2 weeks to go through. Then I shipped the card to them in the original box. They had it for 3 weeks, then all the sudden a white box shows up at my door. I had no tracking info, no info as to what was wrong with my old card, nothing. They kept my original box too so DO NOT send them your original or it will be bye bye. I emailed the rma department to find out if they could at least tell me what happened to my card. This was his reply which suppringly only took about 20 minutes to get.

Card didn't post, we replaced it with a new one.

That's it, no explenation as to why it didn't post or anything. In short, their customer services is about as useful as a dead 1 legged hooker, yeah it will get the job done, but it's not the best experience.

Newegg FTW (newegg is the cheap attractive AIDS free hooker in the customer service department)
