I used the ATI Catalyst tool to OC my card, and it says 500/1090 in the current clock settings. I have ATI Overdrive enabled, and there it says GPU 780, Memory 1090. Idle temp is 81c.

I am running Catalyst 8.6.

What's going on here????

EDIT to add. I can't get the refresh past 60 hertz, running a BenQ G2400WD monitor, is that right, or should I be able to pump it up a little?
 
500/1090 are probably the 2D clocks. When you play a game the card switches into it's 3D clocks.

The card won't go past 60Hz because LCD's only do 60Hz
 
So I can speed up the memory, but not the gpu? And stock speed is 750, again, why 500?
 
No, you can speed up to GPU, too. The core downclocks when you're not running a 3d application, so it'll be shown as something like 500mhz. If you boot up a game, the clock should increase to the overdrive levels.

The memory overclocks show in 2D but the GPU does not, becasue it downclocks in 2D (desktop).

If you want to see for yourself the 3D overclock you gave it , have Overdrive running and start up a game , while gaming, alt+tab out of it and you have a 3 or so second window to view your 3D clocks before it switches back to 2D mode from alt'tabbing.
