It would be a lot better than an SE and since it's not an XT it wouldn't come with HL2. Only the XT line comes with the HL2 voucher. It wouldn't be a bad card, but a 128MB 9600 pro would be a better choice. This card simply isn't powerful enough to take advantage of 256 MB
 
CompUSA has a VisionTek 9600 XT for $150 after rebates, and I think it does come with HL2. I think that would be much better than the other one IMHO. Good luck!
