Look at the VisionTek Press Release in the [H]ardNews 8th edition.
I claims that its "16 parallel pixel pipes and 6 vertex pipes churn out up to 200 GigaFLOPS per second"
Assuming that it starts at 0 GigaFLOPS, in 5 seconds it will be running at 1 TeraFlop. In an hour and a half, it will be running at more than 1 PetaFLOPS!
Seriously, can't a technology company get its technical terms correct? The PS in FLOPS stands for Per Second.
The same mistake was made at the end of Terminator 3.

LOL

maybe they're trying to be cool like the power companies.

"stupid power plants and their watt-hours. we can match them with out GigaFLOPS per second!!!"
