Quick question guys. I just noticed the other day as i was dusting my case, that the heatsink on the videocard closest to the back of the card where you plug in the power is not touching the ram its like floating.

My question is what can i use to stick it back on?

It looks like it has white double sided tape or something tahat looks simmilar and thats what was touching the chips.

Any information how i could stick it back on would be great, the card is onlu like a month old.

Also I keep hearing that these cards have some sort of fan glitch where the fan does not cool the card properly. Info on that would be appreciated as well.

System specs in case they are needed


Case - Cooler Master Stacker 830SE with 650watt PS
Case has 3 side 120mm fans blowing in, and 2 120 fans blowing out, one on top one in the back.

CPU - Q6600 stock with thermaltake maxorb HSF

Mem - 2x 2gb Corsair Dominator PC6400

MB- Intel 975xbx2kr

Operating system Vista 32 bit.

Any information would be appreciated.
 
You are right, i didnt think about that, any idea where i can get some thermaltape? New egg does not have it, any idea?
 
i see you can purchase it by the foot on e-bay but was wondering if i can get some locally ie, home depot ot radio shack. Please advise.
