Anyone know anything about this PSU? Its currently on sale for about $100 give or take a few bucks with coupons, but I have scoured the net and no one really has any info on it. Their website isn't even that detailed. It sounds like a decent PSU especially since I only have a 500w atm and I want to go SLI or get a gtx 280.

I believe it requires a second AC plug but not certain, anyway anyone have any info on this item?

yeah read through that thread but they seem to talk more about the FSP that only has 300w :(

PCIe connectors are only capable of delivering 75W (via 6-pin connector) and 150W (via 8-pin PCIe connector).

You wouldn't need more than a 225W PSU unless you were running a pair of GX2's or GTX280's.

I plan on running SLI and possibly one or the other of those two in the future
 
Than you should just pony up and replace your 500W with a capable PSU. Seriously.
 
Yeah thats what I was trying to determine which would be the best path to take, I suppose thats the +1 for a new PSU
