A friend brought me his computer to get viruses out, he has one screen that always
coming up, it's name is cyber security you cannot unistall it, i went into safe mode
with malware bytes and got rid of an enormous amount of viruses (hundreds ) but
this particular one will not show in safe mode. I would appreciate any suggestions
on how to get rid of this, when you run anti-virus in normal windows the virus
program will not run. I would really appreciate any help.

Try smitfraudfix. Run that in safe mode. It does a lot of work. I run that, Malwarebytes, AVG, ccleaner, and then see where I'm at. After that, I google what the message is and sometimes it takes a specialized cleaner....

I would use Norton anti virus, if you go to there website, they let you get a trial version i do believe, with updates and all. You might have to uninstall other /older anti virus programs to do so. Ad-ware is a good program too for riding of other spy-ware and crap....

I googled this and found out it is a very sofisticated spyware program , it's claimed
spyware doctor can remove it,the only problem is when trying to connect to the net
you are prevented from connecting. When i ran diagnostics it claims there is a firewall
preventing outgoing connections. I tried installing avg and spyware bot with a flash
drive, but need the intrnet to complete installation.

Have you read the stickied link? My guess is "no"...as you tried AVG, which can't find its way out of a paper bag.

CyberSecurity isn't too hard to get rid of, just follow the sticked link top of this forum.

At this point i believe my buddy is screwed as this machine is not worth saving, it's
a six year old e- machine

The computer would not download avg , but i will read the article and see what happens,
i do thank you for your advice and patience. This has just been a very frustrating
day.

can i install the programs in the article with a flash drive ?, as the computer or virus blocks
use of the internet
