Thinking of getting a LianLi black case. What's better to use on the CD bezels, dye or Fusion? If dye, where do you get it?

ive vinyle dye in my local canadian tire but any autostore should have it, i used the krylon fusion thinking it work work well but it didnt really work as well as i thought kinda has a few chips and dings in it but my case has been pretty beat up

If you're talking just black, dye will probably work a little nicer. The main advantage Fusion has is its wider variety of colors.

Big diff between Dye and Fusion:
Fusion is PAINT that is forumlated to stick to plastics well
Dye actually colors the plastic.

I found that Plastic will keep its look if you use dye, where as if you use fusion it will look painted and you will start to loose features (such as texture)

Most dye will only come in darker colors

I am not trying to thread crap or flame here......I just want to make a minor correction. Krylon claims that Fusion bonds to plastic on a molecular level.

Thanks, probably go dye then. Any specific brands, or just go with whatever the auto store has?

True, i frogot about that, But it still seemed like more paint like than dye like when i tried it. It does develope a edge when you have a painted and unpainted part. Also its glossy, I dont know if they sell a matte finish of it. Personally im not flaming fusion or anything, I like it and ill probly use it if i wanted the look it provides, but my first test with the blue glossy stuff made a controller look like it was made of cheep shiny plastic :D
Ill post a few pics of my test latter when i move them to a better host to handle [H]
