ving problems upgrading my vidio card

I just bought a radeon 9550 and after the instal I cant load windows anymore. My screen goes black and stays that way. I've never done any upgrades and could really us some help. Thanks
 
no post or can't load windows?

no post -> try to re-seat the card
can't load windows -> try safemode

posting system specs would help
