nothing special. another 8ms TN-based panel with buggy overdirve. I expect bad colours in this one...
 
i actually am excited about this .. mainly because of the 4 ms response time. I dont know how great it will be so i will wait till it comes out and get some reviews in.

Specs do look quite interesting.

My take would be that responses you get in this forum will be the same as those on all other 8ms and under LCD monitors.

Namely, 99% of gamers will absolutely love it due to light weight, vivid colors, and quick response times. 1% of gamers will claim its not fast enough for them - either because they can see slight motion blur during furious quick action in FPS games, or because their vision is more susceptible to this effect and even the slightest blur drives them crazy and/or makes them less effective in the games. Those who work with Photoshop, do CAD design, CRT purists, and non-gamers will say it sucks because it is LCD, is not an 8 bit panel, colors look washed out, no true blacks, etc. Pretty much every thread in here follows this track.

It basically boils down to what do you want to do with the monitor and how soon do you need it. LCD technology is moving quickly right now and each new release seems to get better. Many are waiting for the 8-bit panel monitors to get much faster.

Even though you can often get better deals online I highly recommend buying locally. Whatever you get test it out and see if it is the right monitor for you while you are still within the return window. Look for a place that does not charge a restocking fee. Much easier to return this way if something doesn't meet your requirements than to get an RMA, ship back across the country, and then wait for your new untested monitor again. Just my two cent's worth.
 
5MS response rate and 3 years warranty looks promising. I currently use a VX900 and will add another VX924 when it releases. It's due in may, anyone knows actually when it'll be released?
 
Yeah I'm interested in this too. I might wait until they release fast 8-bit displays though, not sure.
