Viewsonic VX922

I'd be interesting to see actual response time tests on the VX922. The VX924 (4ms) was only 4ms in very rare occasions.

u wont find many monitors, if any, that hold the response time more than 50% across the spectrum (0-255), if even 25%. Its usually a best-recorded, almost always at the black-white-black level (255).

and...
i want to say its a TN panel. Can TN panels reach 8bit? Does anyone know?
NewEgg has been wrong, so I can't determine if it actually has 16.2 or 16.7m colors. ViewSonic doesn't list that as a spec, anywhere that I can see.
I am under the impression 6bit is 16.2m colors, while 8bit is 16.7m colors. Proper binary determines that is completely bad math, so how they determine that, no clue. But I've been led to believe 16.2m colors is a TN panel (and 6bit), while 16.7m colors is a PVA panel (and 8bit). And PVA panels have been known to have higher latency, but a better picture with better color accuracy. TN panels can reach faster speeds (less latency) but colors are not as accurate as PVA panels.

I have been looking at this monitor too, trying to decide if I should return my NEC 1970GX LCD for this one. This NEC is about 100.00 more, but man it does have a beautiful picture.
