Viewsonic VX922 or Samsung 204B?

Found the Viewsonic 19" for $249.99. The samsung 20.1" is $319.99

Ive measured both screens and the only difference is another inch in width and almost 100% same in height. Is this extra inch worth $70.00?

Should I look for something else that is better then these two? Monitor will be used for games 99% of the time.

It isn't the extra inch you're paying for...... the Viewsonic is 1280x1024, the Samsung is 1600x1200...


My opinion? I've researched LCDs thoroughly, I'm waiting for THE 24" widescreen.... however between those two panels, I'd get the Samsung for the extra desktop real estate.

However, if you just want to play games all day long, the Viewsonic may be the better choice for its excellent response... seems to me its the fastest panel on the market... even for input lag


Of course, they are both TN panels, which has drawbacks in itself.

My opinion? I'd say start looking at widescreen panels, unless you have an aversion to them.
