Hi I am from the u.k first of all to get the currency right :>
Now I have been looking around for a high quality 19" tft. Its come down to either the VX912 or the VP912. I want to know is there any real difference between the two apart from the £80 extra for the VP. All I can see really is the higher brightness level, advertised as HD ready and its swivel base. Is it worth the extra money for this? Also what sucks is that we are only getting the VP in silver. Does it still look good in this color?
What I have been told by a shop is the VP has an extra chipset that allows it to run at its non native resolution and still look good. Also I was told by them that yes the glossy coat has been removed but has instead been but underneath the cover and not on top of it. Is this true?
Can people please give their honest opinion as I dont want to make the same mistake I made with the neovo f-419.
BTW here are the specs of the monitors from the European site for both of the monitors:
VX912
