So how about if i was to buy a dual link dvi cable? Would that work?
Overwind said:Why do you want more than 60hz refresh? Refresh rate is irrelevant for LCDs for all practical purposes. LCDs will not flicker regardless of refresh rate and update delay is governed by response time alone.

Tried playing dark messiah.
Image tearing is something that really gets to me.
Slo Gun said:I now have 75hz refresh rate, forced it using a program called power strip.
The dual link cable was needed, other wise i would get a smal snowy effect...

Varmint said:I don't think that's a good idea. It says right in the specs that 60Hz is max at 1680 x 1050.
I keep seeing people say this, but none of the LCD monitors I've used work that way.bushwakko said:To say that there is no difference between 60 and 75 because it is an LCD that doesn't update that way, just isnt true. Try moving your window around fast with 60hz, and then set 75hz(lower resolution till you are allowed to) and you'll se that its much smoother with 75hz. I'd even go so far as to say that the difference is more important than the difference between 2ms and 16ms.
Try it for yourselves.
