I was going to buy a VX2025wm 20.1 inch widescreen monitor (8ms gray-to-gray (avg.); 16ms white-black-awhite (typ), 800:1 contrast ratio, brightness= 300, res=1680x1050. But then i saw the VX922. its 19 inch, 1280x1024, 2ms gray-to-gray (avg.); 2ms white-black-white (typ), 650:1 contrast, brightness= 270... VX922 is cheper... 2ms worth it for other inferior features? im coming from analog 17 inch dell monitor (not ultrasharp, came with system) its got 1028x1024 res, brightness=250, 450:1 contrast, 16 ms response time...which monitor is greatest/ will i see a differance out of either? I use it for Gaming mostly and web browsing...dont really watch movies

Im very pleased with my 922 and I came from a 19'' ViewSonic P95fb which was one of the best CRT's of all time IMO. Colors do not match that of the CRT but very respectable and to the point that I discontinued use of the CRT. Someone posted an articly in this sub forum that talked about monitor lag on LCD's vs CRT and the 922 was the only that was even close to a CRT. That is not to say that the 2025 will have ghosting just that 'maybe' you will be a frame off from a CRT. I'd say 922 is the way to go for a serious gamer. 2025 for casual gamer. But who knows when the 2255 or whatever comes out with 5ms I might look at that :D
