Viewsonic VX2025WM Centered Timings?

I was just curious if anyone had tried using centered timings with this display (NV or ATI) and wanted to know whether or not it worked? In looking at the manual (i've yet to receive my display) it makes no mention of disabling scaling, so I'd assume it will always scale stuff that isn't its native res to fit the screen, but correct me if I'm wrong in assuming that.

The monitor has no built-in scaling, so it's up to your drivers.

I can say for a fact it works fine on my 6600GT, but it currently doesn't on nVidia's 7 series. I've seen mixed results from the ATi crowd.

Yeah. I've been following that thread from day one, but there aren't nearly as many mentions of it as I'd expect.
