Just purchased the viewsomic VP920b and since there are very few reviews around, I thought I would post some comments. It comes very well packaged in a strong cardbord box sitting in good styroform. Put the stand together, pluged in the included DVI cable and power cable, turned on the computer and really didn't have to do anything else. Contrast and brightness needed slight adjusments but thats it. The screen is bright, very good contrast and text is the best I have ever seen. The monitor comes preset at 6500k but has a setting, sRGB which accurately displays colors as they were originally intended. On that setting the display jumps out at you. Really bright, contrasty, almost natural. I think this setting is what Samsung calls "Magic Brite". On a black screen there is no bleeding. I used the Dead Pixel Buddy program just to check and there are no dead or stuck pixels. I've heard on the VP series that they will replace with just one dead pixel. Tried a couple of games and they ran flawlessly, Battleground, Panzers, Nascar. Viewsonic claims 4ms g to g. The games look and play lots better than the Samsung 173v this replaced. The height control is a bonus as my wife sits lower than I do so very easy to adjust. Built in speakers, not bad, not great. Can be rotated portrait style but software not included. My video card, NX 6600GT VTD128. So far very impressed and very happy with the VP920b.

I find the color excellent. It was sitting next to a Samsung 940BW and the colors were just as good.
