Viewsonic VP912b help please

This monitor is Just great... wow. I am in love with this monitor.

The only problems i am having is this., when i restart or start my computer, no Signal DVI messege keeps popping up. It keeps popping up in bios, when loading windows and welcome screen. and shows when i start and exit any games. Is there anyway to turn that offf. This is so annoying.


2nd problem.. whats the best color setting for the monitor, whoever have this monitor, can you guys tell me, and what color management should i use in display properties.

3rd can you please tell me what Doom 3 setting should i use.. It looks kind of choppy. I have ATI X800 XT pci exresss card.

Your first problem I’ve seen before and it’s a pain. If you installed your video drivers on a different monitor then switched to this monitor try un-installing your video drivers and do a fresh install. I’ve seen that work a few times, but not guaranteed.

Every monitor is different and they all need calibration. I posted some instructions in this thread that seemed to work for him.
