Could anyone that's well-informed tell me the major differences between these two LCD monitors? I'm buying a new LCD screen for gaming / movie purposes. The VX912 is a lot cheaper than the VP912, but I can't see any differences. Am I blind?
 
I have been looking at these 2 monitors as well.
looking at the datasheets, among other things, the VP912 has a more versatile stand, VP912 is brighter (400 cd/m2 versus 250 for vx912).
Also they have different coatings.
 
The VX-910 has a tilt only base and is basically designed for home users. The VP912 has the height, tilt, rotate papel base that all Viewsonic's business level monitors use. The VP912 has the same reflective coating the fast Sony 19" that uses the same panel. If you can't live with a reflective display, don't buy one.
