Hi All

First time post guys so go easy :)

I returned a Dell U2410 to Amazon on Monday using their 30 day returns policy.

It had a really visible tinting issue blue/green on the left side of the panel as I looked at it and pink on the right. Apart fromm this the monitor was the dogs bollocks but I just couldn't live with the tinting on Web Pages and the like.

The HP ZR24W looked like a suitable alternative until i read all the dead pixel posts on here.

I do quite a bit of Photo Editing and this is why i wanted the ips panel but it seems to me that all sub £500 ips monitors have one problem or another.

Has anyone tried the ViewSonic VP2365wb? : http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/viewsonic_vp2365wb.htm

At £225 i might be able to live with some minor defects otherwise I'm gonna have to just get a TN panel and wait until LG fix their manufacturing process or Dell sort out their quality control

Thanks

John

I have the Viewsonic VP2365wb and am very pleased with it. It seems BHSdirect (the high street BHS chain does computer gear too) have this for £192 including delivery. Nothing really to add to the TFTCentral review except that it is a great value monitor. I tried the Benq vw2420h VA and was very disappointed - the LEDs were visible along the bottom edge (ripple effect) and it felt like it would fall apart it was so flimsy. The vp2365wb feels very solid. It comes with a program PerfectSuite Plus which allows you to control most of the settings form your PC and create various profiles. Colours are not flat as some have suggested nor is it dull (comes 100% brightness, I se that to 40% because it was way too bright). Viewing angles are excellent. Colour is even across the screen. It is ideal for photography and you can rotate the screen 90 degrees for portrait mode. I should add that Viewsonic has a zero-pixerl-failt policy on this screen and it has a three-year on-site swap-out warranty.
