Damn. I can only dream of that 25.5". Price tag is in the NEC 2490 and 2690 territory though.

The NEC EA231WMI seems better option w/ the same panel, but also includes displayport, better build quality and NEC's solid track record.

Viewsonic's best days are behind them.

Viewsonic is less Environmentally friendly, missing display port but is coming in at a cheaper price point.

Viewsonic and NEC are both fine monitors. We need comparisons between the two.

There could be benefits that the Viewsonic has that the NEC doesn't for all I know.

cnet reviews suck. I am interested in this monitor. The G/F needs an LCD, and I would use an upgrade from a Dell 2007 WFP.
