I bought this monitor a week ago from compusa for gaming so far so good no ghosting or anything else. I've heard there are some new LCD's coming out this week from LG, Viewsonic and Dell. They will be 12ms to 8ms with a 19 inch view resolution 1280x1024. Mine is 16ms with a 20.1 inch uxga screen with resolution at 1600x1200 the other ones will not be uxga. The thing I want to know is would you guys keep this monitor or take it back for the new ones. And whats the difference between uxga and the other ones I think sxga or something like that. Any recommendations would be great

Hell No! 1600x1200 is much too nice. I wouldn't even consider 1280x1024 if a 1600x1200 screen was within my price range. Now granted I have this odd idea that pixel count > *. I think it has something to do with being a programmer. To me pixels are more important than color, contrast, response time, etc.
Also, those new "fast" panels may be TN panels. 18 bit color vs. 24 for your screen. Since you haven't seen any ghosting, I'm thinking your screen is an IPS or S-IPS ("super" IPS) panel. One difference between (S-)IPS and TN is that the difference between best case (what they put in the specs) and worst case is smaller for (S-)IPS than it is for TN panels, so your 16ms panel may actually be as good or better than a 12ms TN panel. Besides, we're not talking about hoesepower or disk space here. Once you get to the point where you can't see any ghosting, a "better" response time is pretty much meaningless. You're already there.
The only reason to take your screen back is if you spent more than you wanted to on it and would rather have something cheaper.

edit: checked online and confirmed your screen is indeed an IPS panel.
