I had a VP171B, but I sold it so I could get the 2001fp. Right now I'm waiting for it to go on sale, but I'm having second thoughts.

Has anyone used both of these? If so, how was the picture quality on the 2001fp? better or worse then the VP171B?
 
2001fp isnt significantly "better", its just a higher resolution and 3 inches bigger.

I didn't necessarily dislike anything about the VP171B, its just based on specs, and other things..I am assuming the 2001FP has a better picture. That and it is bigger.
 
I was happy with the picture on the VP171B, so as long as the 2001fp is equal in terms of picture quality, I'd be fine.
