I am going be buying a Viewsonic VA1912WB 19" Widescreen LCD using DVI. I currently have a RealSync 17" LCD and using an MSI Gforce 6600GT.

Can I run both on DVI? Is it gonna kill my vid card?
 
I am running my old KDS 15" VGA only LCD and my new Viewsonic VA1913WB (via DVI) off of my eVGA 6600GT PCI-e and it handles it fine.
 
Ok, this is my question.

My vid card obviously has one analog output, and one digital. I will put my new Viewsonic VA1912WB on DVI, so do I put my other 17" LCD on analog or is there a better way of doing things?

That's basically it. Unless you want to get a second cheap video card with DVI.
 
When websites like newegg do the dimensions of a display, is that the screen viewing size or actually the size of the monitor including the frame?
 
They should give both. Monitor size and viewable measurement are usually both listed in the specs.
 
I can't see a real close up very well, but have you guys ever tried removing the speakers or is that sort of impossible on that monitor?
 
it's part of the bezel, so forget about it unless you're a mod master (like, pro :D ). they probably don't draw much attention, and especially if you buy a splitter a radio shack having an extra 2 center or front channels for audio can't hurt at all. :p
