Viewsonic Speakers

Hello,
Has anyone tried these speakers? http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=36-156-001&depa=0 If so, hows the quality? My sister is looking for a good set of 2.0 speakers. (note: its 2:46 AM so if that doesnt make sense, well you know why )

bass response will be poor at best.

I'd say go with something else, even a set of cambridge's cheapest would be a huge upgrade.

once again...take a look at these, these will blow those viewsonicws out of teh water, and the desktop speakers are tiny as well.

good set of 2.0 speakers

Not sure there are going to be any small sets of 2.0 speakers that are going to compare to a 2.1 set. So I would say get whatever.

sorry i forgot to mention why I kept pushing small 2.1 setups. almost every 2.0 setup in the size range you are looking for won't even hit the low end of human vocals, let alone any proper music reproduction, or much of anything else....really speakers of that design aren't even worth the money spent to make them... and any 2.0 with good sound often has 4" or larger woofers, leading to a rather large size speaker.
