ViewSonic Professional PT813 warped display...

I'm having issues with this monitor. Adjusting display settings, color settings, refresh rates, and even monitor options itself has no effect. Every time I apply an adjustment, the screen display shorts out and the monitor has to sit for a couple of minutes before the Power On will work and it defaults back to where it was previously. Is there any hope for this monster screen or is it now an awkward paper weight?

Sounds like a fault of some kind and honestly it would be cheaper in the long run to just buy yourself a new monitor.
