i'm looking for a replacement for my crappy old mag 19" crt....

i play cs, cs:source, doom3, will play half-life 2, etc, etc

i also code a lot so i need something nice and crisp, this monitor is extremely blurry, that's the reason i'm replacing it

which monitor would be better all around for me??? i've rarely used an LCD so i dont know a ton about them....any ideas ???

Mitsubishi 930SB- better than the P95f, which I use now. As for the LCD, well, you get to make that decision- the tradeoffs are definitely subjective.

ok now i've started looking at the 930SB and i'm fairly impressed with it. i read about adjusting the pots on it and everything...did you have to do that ??? could i maybe do that to this monitor to help the text ???

seems like that monitor is top of the line as far as 19" crts go....

I have both the 930 SB and the 710T and the pots do not need to eb adjusted. But you should. It helps alot and makes the text even crisper than the 710T which I was very impressed with. I would go for the 930SB it is amazing

dell has them onsale now for $271

the screwdriver needed to asjust the pots on 930SB is the Craftsman 0x4" Professional Phillips. It is $2.99 at sears
