the ViewSonic p90f that i have shows black whenever i shut off

my monitor or play a game...like the sides show black and makes

everything all squished...so i always have to adjust it so it is

aligned correctly with the side of my monitor...auto-adjust doesn't

auto-adjust it correctly either...it makes it even worst....is this

only with my monitor that it does this? because it gets annoying

and i always have to manually adjust the settings for the vertical

and horizontal position and size...why can't it just remember my

settings? also..my monitor makes a click sound when i alt+esc to

windows from any game...thats annoying also...any ways to

prevent these issues? this monitor suppose to be professional

series....i dont see what is so professional bout it with these

flaws...

p.s. spacing for easier reading...

Instead of using spacing for easier reading, why don't you use periods and complete sentences?

Spacing can be used to split up different topics, but periods and capital letters at the beginning of new sentences allow the reader to understand when one idea ends and another begins.

i have the same monitor and it doesnt happen to me,it does click when changing the res tho, like going from a game in 800x600 res to my desktop at a high res.

there has to be something wrong with recient viewsonics and this resizing problem. Now I know that I have one of their entry level monitors, but I also get wierd resizing problems, after I shut off the monitor (or kill the power via my USP) and turn my machin back on, its all screwed up and I have to resize everything back to normal. On mine like half the start button dissapears and the image is like tilted. I have no idea why it does that!

I have a p90f as well...it's a fine moitor but I have this resizing issue also...basically what you do is...turn it on...let it warm up for at least a half hour...size it how you want it...then leave it.When you turn it off then back on itll be all screwy again but wait 20 minutes or so and it will fill up the screen again on its own...it's annoying but I got used to it.Probably wouldn't buy another viewsonic becasue of it though.

Now someone help me with my other monitor troubles :)
