I bought my p220f back in September of 2004, and for the last month or so I've noticed colored lines going horizontally through images and text. It happens mostly when theres alot of white on the screen, but it also does it with other colors as well. I think my display is dying, but I have noticed that if I jiggle the cable in the back that I can either make the problem go completely insane and wash out all the colors, or I can make it ALMOST dissapear, but never completely. I'm hoping its the cable, and I'm going to try and find a VGA cable tommorow for it, but its complete BULLSHIT if this display is dying after not even a year of use...

Could be video card. But I doubt it.
Could be cable. But I doubt it.
Could be electromagnetic interference caused by the alignment of the planets. But I doubt it.

It's probably the input board, but could be the control board. Your problem description is sufficiently vague that I refuse to say definitively what it is beyond "IT'S BROKE!"
Welcome to modern QC, especially on supposed Pro CRTs. And still people look at me weird when I say I'll pay whatever it costs to repair the one I have now. (Yeah, CRTs made in the past two years that support +SRGB 1.0V input? What's that? NONE? Kthx.)
