I had a VX20205wm that died to the EDID settings being over-written with corrupted ones(I can't believe they still don't protect their EDID), so I sent in the monitor for RMA.

They paid for shipping both ways but they sent back my own monitor(still not working). I yelled at the customer support guy and sent back the VX2025wm. A week later the UPS guy arrives with a brand new VX2035wm, and now I'm happy.

So, the RMA process was not as smooth as I had hoped for it to be, but with enough pressure on the customer support, they sent me exactly what I had wanted/needed.

I would buy another Viewsonic monitor when they start protecting their EDID.

Wow...you are consumer that company execs have wet dreams about. Lets see here..your monitor died because of a design defect...you sent it to them...they send it back unfixed...you send it back again...they send you a newer model which has an inferior TN panel instead of the P-MVA you had before...One and a half thumbs up? :p
