Hi,im contemplating buying the viewsonic 27' n2750w lcd tv for my computer tu use for coding,web and games(im not too picky on ghosting,my bro has an at least 3year old 15inch lcd and i have no prob playing ut2004 on it) + tv. The specs look nice and the price too,what your 2cents on this screen?

I'm not sure if you're in canada or the states, but there is a thread on www.redflagdeals.net that discusses this lcd, which in Canada you can find at Costco for 999$ CAD. The specs and viewing angles indicate that its definitely a TN panel. However, I saw this tv the other day at Costco and was surprised by what I saw. The colors are actually pretty nice and the viewing angle seems to be good. I didn't really have much time to look at it however, I was contemplating using it as a desktop lcd also. However, i'm sitting pretty close to my current lcd and think that I would just be too close. Unfortunately, sitting so close would mean some pretty extreme angles on either end of the screen... Res. isn't that great either for a 27" lcd. Its fine for a tv, but for a computer monitor...
