I was looking at getting the VP930b and this is what they say for their VP series.

(0) zero dead pixel guarantee for (90) ninety days on our VX724, VX924, and all our VP series LCD monitors from the date of purchase. Please contact your reseller for DOA exchange. Alternatively, you can contact our authorized distributor for more information.

What I am curious if what counts as the date of purchase? If I am getting it from newegg is it 90 days after the purchase from newegg? Thats what I figured but just wanted to check.

Also has anyone heard anything on the VP930b?

NewEgg is charging $470 + $15 for Shipping and handling. There are better options. ZipZoomFly.com has it at $420 with free 2nd day shipping. There are others with similar prices too. Check Pricegrabber.com
