I heard that the Viewsonic 912B LCD does not have a reflective screen anymore. Is this true? Or does Viewsonic produce 2 versions of this monitor? Is there any way to identify the anti-reflective screen from the box?

I wanted to get this monitor but I really wanted to avoid a reflective screen but since there's a new anti-reflective version, I want to pick one up. BTW, I live in Canada so I hope this new model is available there.

Any reviews on the new non-reflective version?

Thanks,

Mine was made Dec 2004 and its got the anti-glare screen. So I assume any made in Dec or after will have the new screen. The revision # on the box is 211. I was looking forward to the reflective screen as it really brought out the color but now I'm glad I didnt get it. Colors look great and almost no glare. Very happy so far.

Ratfester,

Where abouts do you live? Are you in North America?
