actually, I think it's newly refurbished. Kind of like being "freshly reheated". Deliciously unappetizing to the LCD connoisseur.

hey guys, just curious, is there anyway to know if its been back to the factory for work or if it is brand new in box?

It's a brand new in the box refurb. It refurbed itself in the box while it was still new. Or maybe it's just newly refurbished like the other guy said :confused:

This is getting confusing (lol)
 
I think it may be an intricate ploy to drive the price of non-newly refurbished monitors down so that the newly refurbished make a better margin.
 
who gives a damn. seriously ppl stfu.

this is a great deal usually the inverter board goes bad on a LCD so refurb means they put in a new one. the case of stuck pixels; well no less chance of stuck pixels as in a new one so yeah...
 
or maybe someone with dead pixels returned it... therefore its refurbished, and theres a slightly higher chance of dead or stuck pixels ;)
