I'm not sure how to word this, but here goes. You know when you have multiple computers plugged into a router, and the IP address of each shows as something like 192.168.1.100, 192.168.1.101 etc? Well, from the outside, I know these IP addresses are incorrect. I have a web cam server program on one of the machines at home so I can do surveillance on the house when I am at work. On the machine in question, I went to whatismyip.com and it gave me what seems to be a normal looking address, but when I try to access that address I get the router log in screen, instead of being able to connect to the machine. When I am home, I can go to the 192.168 address and see the cam, but I want to be able to view it from work. Any ideas?
