viewing F@H from different network

I currently have 6 clients folding on work computers (I have permission, don't worry) and I'd like to be able to view the combined number of ppd/stats/etc. from home, attached to the ones I have folding there. Is there a good way to do this, without opening a port to each computer? Currently I just have my main computer on the work network read the other 5 and display on it.

I think the easiest way to accomplish this is to install HFM.net on each one of the nodes and have it report it's stats to a web server via FTP.

If they are all on the same network, then you could simply run one instance of HFM.net on one of the computers and view the stats from all of them, then upload that information via ftp to a web server.

^^ +1 to this. This is exactly what I do for my home farm. I set up Apache and export HFM to a web site (it is designed to this, dead easy). Can access my stats from anywhere. Job done.

I remember using HFM a while back when I first started tinkering with folding, I'll give it a try when I go back to work monday.

Alrighty, update time.

I have HFM installed at work, and it creates a website here: http://spleenbegone.com/folding
It also uploads the log files.
Now, from home, I have HFM as well, and have set up clients to pull the log files. The problem is, only the server running v6 is actually showing up proper. All the other log files don't seem to let HFM get it's needed information. Suggestions as to why?

You aren't telling HFM where to look for those logs correctly on the client at work. Run HFM locally on that client, if all is reporting correctly which I'm guessing it wont be, then figure out why. Once it reports itself correctly on HFM locally, it will upload the correct stats.

I'll give it a try, but the logs that have uploaded on the site seem to be correct, they have when frames are completed, login, etc.

If HFM can be pointed to respective log files (uploaded, samba shares, local, whatnot), it should work fine, I would expect.

"VPN" is not an answer to posed question, tbh :p

V7 is a bitch. Setup an openvpn server where hfrm s housed, toss client on each machine, setup to run as service. Done.:p
