Viewing angle of Viewsonic VX910

I was about to buy a Viewsonic VX910 when I noticed that it has a viewing angle of 140° horizontal and 140° vertical, this sounds bad to me. I've had experience with a LG L1710B which has a 140° vertical viewing angle, it is very noticeable.

However on Viewsonic Europe's page the specs are 140° horizontal, 140° vertical (at 10:1)160° horizontal, 160° vertical (at 5:1). Could anyone explain this to me.
