View vs. RemoteFX vs. HDX vs. ?

The 3D acceleration offered to virtualized boxen interests me greatly. Does anyone have any experience with any of these? Specifically, I'd like to know how much of a performance hit you're taking going from host to virtual. For example, say I wanted two clients to connect to a single 8x2Ghz/8GB/2x580 box. Could they simultaneously play Crysis/use Maya/play different 1080p movies? If so, at what framerate?

I think with remote fx (Server 2008 R2 sp1) needs hyperv clients running a windows 7 sp1 os. I think that there is a way to associate 1 video card to one client. You might want to take a look at this post http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?p=1036426610

Personally I think you would need to drop to much money to get what you want...

I havent tried the other two methods, but RemoteFX requires proper licensing which will also cost you more $

For anyone else interested, I found this youtube video, which has some Japanese guy showing off the FF14 benchmark through RemoteFX. His GTX560 Ti and i7 960 should easily give him 8-10,000 points, instead he ends up with 2253. I'm curious as to why his score is so low. In another video, the speaker mentions how Microsoft only allocates 200MB of video memory to a VM. I can't find any other information about this limit on the web anywhere. This box has the Quadro FX 5800 card in it - basically a GTX280 with 4GB of VRAM. It SHOULD be able to do so much more.
